Wow! I can recall the concrete walls of the theatre being put in place. The theatre was the first structure in Brownwood to be built. To see it “rise” from the flat landscape in such a short time was an amazing sight.
Sad to see it go. But I guess the pandemic killed people’s interest in going out to the movies. Can you recall the long lines of people surrounding the theatre to get tickets to Star Wars releases?
I just hope it’s not more apartments, but if they generate profits, that may be what’s considered.
