That statement strikes me as not logical and ridiculous. When my GREAT grandfather came over on the boat, the west had a frontier and the industrial revolution was starting and he had needed industrial SKILLS. And the population of the US was about 70 million and most lived on FARMS.
.......We HAVE nowhere NEAR THOSE CONDITIONS TODAY. We have NO FRONTIER, low unemployment, and A.I. and robotics are on the cusp of BIG social changes LIKE producing up to 30% unemployment.
........Today is a TERRIBLE time to bring in LEGAL immigrants and NEVER is the RIGHT TIME to allow ILLEGALS to breech our BORDERS. A country that can't DEFEND its BORDERS is NOT EVEN a real country.
