As for more socially responsible officers, I am unsure as to what that means. I would think it means someone who is not harmful to society. Can you clarify for me what a socially responsible police officer would be?
My quote was "YOUNGER more socially responsible" Officer candidates. It's just basic. Younger people in general tend to be more in tune to the NEEDS of All OF SOCIETY. It has been that way,in general, throughout History. For example, after WW2, Black G.I. came home with Caucasian wives because in Germany and France people thought of Blacks as EQUALS. Also, Blacks came home realizing that the whole world was NOT prejudiced against them like in the US. They learned social and cultural evolution. Each generation, basically, moves FORWARD. There are some times of backwardation, but, basically, the arc of History moves FORWARD toward the betterment of humanity.
..... So in this case, each NEW and younger generation of Police Officers (and everyone) IS MORE socially responsible.
.........The future IS SO BRIGHT that young people today MUST wear shades!!!!!!!!!
