Florida has been a concentrated target area for "water filtration" systems for at least the last 50 YEARS, married Florida native, was amazed at the push for water filtration sales, never talked about in the my native state. Years ago, LOL, as a young person, made me a little frightened of why "Florida people" bought these systems.. of course not all refrigerators had filters back then to take out the powerful "chlorine smell" !
