Any comments about them? Also, how do I dispose of my old mattress?
Thanks

I spent $2,000 on a Queen-size hospital-type bed from Amazon with a 14” four and spring mattress. I love it! The remote control lets me elevate the back, head or knees. It has an anti-snore setting that raises the back just a few degrees and decreases back pain and helps my sinuses drain. (I can’t sleep on my sides when it is up, but I can press one button in the dark and return it to flat.) It even has a vibrator setting with a number or settings. I watch television in bed, and read, and drink coffee. I used to use two big pillows to elevate myself for that. Now the bed does it.
Note that this weighs a total of 350 lbs in the box. I paid about $100 extra for set-up, and that was money well spent. It’s easy to set up, but hard to lift, carry, and turn over. These are really terrific for older people who don’t sleep well or may need to elevate their head or feet. Like us. The king bed has two separate mattresses so they can be raised and lowered separately. But if you like to cuddle at night, the queen is better. If you’ll be sleeping alone the rest of your life, just get a standard size. So much easier to make the bed, and so much more room in your bedroom.
