That explains it all very clearly. I believe many of us came here just to "look around" and made the assumption that all those ceramics, yoga, art, ballet, ballroom, line, dancing classes, etc. etc. were amenities offered by "the villages". We never even realized (? or thought about it deeply enough to ask a representative ?) that none of these people are paid. Eventually, we too fell in line and did some years of volunteering to teach skills we had to offer to other villagers.. that's what keeps the whole house of cards, so to speak, from collapsing. Our neighbor teaches swimming exercise class, another shares his photography skills by teaching that art. She will easily be able to teach a yoga class to fill her time. There are many yoga classes and all are popular. There is always a demand for MORE.
