I'm just as quick as anyone to go for the "miracle weight loss" plan. But I tried on one of those "slim in one minute" body shapers last Friday. It was way more comfortable and cool than the old rubber girdles. And comparatively speaking, I guess you hardly know you're wearing them. As long as there is air conditioning!
But when I wear a body shaper for any length of time, I still long to get home, get it off, and get into something comfortable. I think they're worth having around for a wedding or family reunion .. but not for daily wear.
