Mykayla of "Rescuing Ocala Wildlife" is a super person and very good at what she does. She shared some of her knowledge with us at a presentation at The Village Birders. She pointed out that it is now legal for non-license folks to do bird rescues but it's really best to have somebody like her who really knows what he or she is doing. Look at the talons and beak on that bird! It may be a youngster but it can inflict some serious damage on fools that rush in to try to help! If I see a bird or other animal that needs help, I will call "Rescuing Ocala Wildlife" every time!
