Default After The Fair: The legacy if the 1964-65 NY World's Fair

I was 12 and lived near the Jersey side of the Lincoln Tunnel. I'm half paying attention to this Youtube about the worlds fair and trying to think of a new thread. So here we go:

I got to go twice. Once with my class and once with my family. I have a handful of memories but the Belgium Waffle's with ice cream made a big impression on me. They mention the Waffles in the video. Does anyone have fond memories to share about the Fair? My dad went over the directions so many times and bought so many maps and got us to leave so early you'd think we were going on the Oregon Trail. It was 25 miles away.
