I don't know if any of you know how medicaid works. I had a client who was a kidney transplant patient. They had health insurance which was quickly maxed out of the lifetime benefits which at that time was $1 million. So they applied for medicaid, they were told to either sell their house or remortgage it. After their savings and their house was gone they would qualify for medicaid. So they bit the bullet and just continued to work, both of them. They were going to hold onto their home as long as they could. My father warned me about men like him.
