When it comes to child pornography investigations, police and prosecutors have an awesome array of tools at their disposal that allows them to make their cases virtually iron clad. Yes...the State still has to prove their case, but most defendants in these types of investigations plead guilty, once confronted with the mountain of evidence. For this particular guy, life as he knew it is over.
It absolutely amazes me that there is no mandated registration for murderers. Life as they knew it continues under the umbrella of anonymity.
