If enough of this starts to happen, I believe the "word" would quickly get around in the "lawn mowing" circles. That would help a LOT, especially if they would check for VALID licenses, valid license PLATES ON THE TRUCK, and also valid plates for the one or two TRAILERS they have attached ! Word of mouth can spread, and huge fines can cause those involved to "reconsider" the cost of breaking the laws, to the "monetary gains" that come from speeding from job to job, and from not renewing license plates and even contractor licenses and insurance. If you ever need some entertainment, just copy down some of the "state licensed and insured" numbers from various trucks and on calling cards left stuck in your doors ... any trucks, roofing, mowing, painting, etc. and then go to the state website and CHECK if those numbers are in good standing ! It can be quite an eye opening experience !
