Default In Obama's town meeting Friday he emphasized

the waste in the current Medicare practices and procedures. So significant, the elimination thereof would finance 2/3 of the new health care reform (or insurance reform or what ever makes it sell better).
If it is known in such detail for the POTUS to embellish, then why do we have to wait for health care reform to eliminate the waste?

The waste is the fuel for the special interest groups and lobbyists that have our representatives in their pocket.

I would think it would be reasonable to expect, as part of the new reform legislation, a commitment, a plan, some one responsible/accountable to make the savings happen.

In my opinion there will be nothing done. No plan = no action. No responsibility/accountability = no results.

Default result? A tax increase.

Hopefully I am wrong.

Do you think the savings will be realized and why?
