Do gas carts not require fossil fuel to build, run, and dispose of?

My electric cart costs one sixth what my gas cart costs to run, does that mean it uses one sixth the fossil fuel? My electric cart also uses zero engine oil and zero rubber belts which seems like a savings. My electric cart generates zero emissions, that has to be good.

When I tried to see how far I could go on a single charge I got bored after four hours and before I used 3/4 of the charge. Perhaps you travel more than 45 miles on your trips.

Confirmation bias is real; I can find any number of articles that say so.
