A small price to pay for a quiet ride, close to 300 miles per 5 gallon fill up, great handling rack and pinion steering, and bump absorbing four wheel independent suspension. Running a cart at high RPM’s without high speed gears for thousands of miles can’t be a good thing for the engine in the long run.

Might want to check your odometer. 300 miles with 5 gallons is 60 MPG. Per dealer they get around 35 MPG. I have always exceeded the EPA MPG estimates and in the cart I probably do get around 35 MPG.
