Met a few Alaskans who seemed to also have been in the same program I was in of having a lot of their tuition paid if they promised to go back to Alaska to work as librarians. I did work in California from 1984 to 1986 but went to law school in Minnesota in 1986. And had been very interested in what I could find that was useful for victims/survivors of crimes in the Twin Cities libraries by going into them in person.
Continued doing this kind of stuff after leaving Minnesota but started writing many victim/witness assistance providers in every US state to see what they would like their local community libraries to have in them that would be useful for survivors/victims of crimes.
Nothing but was interesting. Had shared my findings of sorts with a few people at the University of California, San Francisco Medical School while I was a subject #613 in a study on stress in late 1992-1993.
