I started swimming laps last year at the sports pools and noticed the radio station was on, fairly loud.
Of course, it has to be fairly loud for me to hear it, especially if I'm in the water. I found it to be a mixed blessing. I enjoyed the music while swimming, although not every selection was a favorite, the overall mix was OK by me.
While FOX news is not my "go to", as far as I could tell, the news was pretty straight news, as opposed to political commentary disguised as news and defended as entertainment.
My take on this: . Much of what goes on in TV is developer driven, and directed towards marketing of TV. This was going on before I was here, and I was well aware of that fact before I bought. I like it more than I don't like it, and I strongly suspect more people like it than don't like it. It's part of the culture here. Not my favorite part, but it's part of it, and while there are parts of the culture here I'm not crazy about, there is so much I do like about TV that, like most of us, I accept the parts I'm not wild about so I can enjoy the parts I am wild about.
Now, let's get back to Tommy Roe, and "Oh Sweet Pea"...
