After a few years, I was so dismayed over the dirt and dust that could not be cleaned out even with constant vacuuming; too many small areas that eventually looked slightly grey, never looked sparkling clean like when installed, so I made the difficult decision to have all of them taken out. So, definitely will not refute the many who will respond how much they love them. I know many do ! If you've had them previously, then you know you want them, if not, just make sure first because they are a large investment.

Interesting. Limiting light is a plus for us. When we want it darker, they're great. When we want more light, just tilt them open and we have plenty of light! And a simple occasional wipe down with a Swiffer deals with any dust issues...
