Do we really want to hear all the gloom and doom in such a positive and wonderful retirement community?
We all have phones with notifications and a unlimited supply of news available, why cramp in down our throat in the Squares, pools etc.
It doesn't stop at TV.
I literally had to turn the golf off on Golf Channel yesterday because as you may or not know the Golf Channel is owned by NBC.
1/2 of the commercials were based in promoting MSNBC and in the most specific way with actual political conversations, no it would be no better if FOX owned the Golf Channel and excessively promoted their news channels. I don't need to hear about politics during Golf from any news organization, some watch Golf to escape the inundation of political news or just news in general.
I've been watching the Golf Channel for decades and they never jammed this amount of political news junk prior. It seems this year is when they turned to using it as a platform to push a certain news agenda.
Personally I think PGAT viewership is going to take a hit with this new form of political commercials.
Whatever happen to car and Rolex commercials?
Even the regular commercials are more virtue signaling than trying to sell a product.
To sum up it's just disgusting to see how these people use selective tragedies to further divide us.
Rant off.

Because the mask loving germophobes at NBC (and their lawyers) did not want to be liable for bringing golfers together at tournaments, even though social distancing at these events was more than adequate to provide a reasonable degree of safety. All I can say is:
