Whew!!!
Truer words were never spoken!!

Truthfully, I thought the heat and humidity would keep many peeps away, but we had a tremendous turnout. But 1/2 way through the celebration, the sky opened up to torrential rains, thunder and lightening. F16 (Bless his soul) decided to play the part of Tom Hanks in Cast Away and through off his shirt, grew a beard and started on the ark!! Whatta man he is.. We knew we didn't have to worry too much because we had bathroom facilities and food but we thought we'd never get out of there. Stranded until 5:30pm, some of the smart ones left a little early before the rains came but for the rest of us, it was hang around until its all over.

Thank goodness, my love, Ronnie was there, so I was hoping we wouldn't get out for days, but unfortunately the rain stopped and we all went home Pictures forthcoming after the dancing tonight at Havana. So hang onto your hats, I promise to post them soon.

Betti, why weren't you there? I didn't wear my boa but I did do a dance !!!
