Thanks for that information. It is too bad that the cartels are still thriving. I would be happy to see the state governments help to sell it at reduced prices so low as to DRIVE the Cartels out of business. The state taxpayer would be better off in the long run. The cartel pot could be cut with dangerous impurities that the government-controlled pot would NOT have. Even if the state-approved pot was sold at a loss, it would have guaranteed quality as opposed to cartel pot.
.....You would think that the state-approved pot would have production advantages (like not being raided and jailed) that SHOULD (?) lead to real cost advantages. The cartels have to cause the states other problems like crime and murder that could change the cost-benefit analysis involved in getting rid of them.
