Under the ADA (Federal Act ) all businesses and local/state jurisdictions must provide unrestricted access for the disabled from public transportation to and within the businesses as a public accommodation.
Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a car or golf cart or even two good legs to walk on. It is another example of all tax payers helping those less fortunate.
