As I understand it teachers need special training to deal with so called special needs children whose behavior can be a nightmare with which to deal. Much of the time attempting to communicate and obtain cooperation with the parents or guardians of such children is impossible. Although special ed teachers are additionally compensated for their difficult and challenging work you could not pay me enough.
