I have a handful of grade school and high school friends on Facebook, but I don’t see them in person. It’s easier to deal with at a distance. And I also look in the mirror as little as possible.

Perspective, Man… That’s rather Hollywood thinking. I would joke about not going to reunions because everyone looked so old. But the beauty and soul in those lines and wrinkles! The lives those faces have lived are told there including the joys, heartaches, hopes, dashed dreams, loss, accomplishments, pain, humor and so forth. Graduated in 1966, have seen and enjoyed much and my stories are many. Looks fade but I had my days in the good times, it’s time for the younger generation to enjoy their prime. When I look in the mirror now, I’m satisfied with who I am and how I look.
I have probably gone to three class reunions and they were okay but looking backward isn’t real important to me.
