That is pretty clever, and it will work. It will save you $10 per month per box. But, since I only have two boxes, and my total bill is about $250 per month, it wouldn't make sense for me to save $10. You would need to use the Roku remote instead of the Xfinity remote, and you would be streaming from the Internet instead of using the COAX cable, where you have access to several built-in apps delivered directly through the cable. These apps would need to be downloaded separately to the Roku stick if you wanted to use them. Also, the Xfinity voice features would not be available.
