Do they still have a breakfast?
What is the procedure for getting seats, are they assigned when you arrive at the station?
Any other items we should know about?
Thank you, VT
When we first took it abofut 8 yrs ago, it was good. Wine and cheese for room passengers after we boarded, a delicious meal, excellent service. But it was cheapened. They did away with the wine and cheese. Styrofoam cups replaced the porceiain, servers cadge for tips. Rooms are the best way to go. Roomettes are for young acrobats who don't need sleep. The best part is the lounge where I have met many interesting persons and have spent most of the time. Would not pay extra priority car unload: I'm retired. I can wait.
