AI is not new. Just like virtual machines was not new when VMware came out, I used real VM’s on the mainframe decades earlier called vm/cms

The code for LLMs is not new and a lot in the public domain. Any of us can download it.
What is new is the magnitude of the training data, and huge improvements in computer processing power and storage.
