I'm sure they must have done a study that showed this was going to work.
I'm 77, my biggest worry is that there is enough milk for my corn flakes in the morning.
At one time there was a big uproar when women started wearing pants.
10 years from now people will either embrace this or look back at this as a big joke.

I am already looking at it as a SAD "joke." No one took "Klinger" from Mash seriously and even in the series, he was not taken seriously by the other characters. He was a man dressing as a woman in an attempt to get a section 8 out of the military. Now, they do it to get attention. They have come out of the closet that they were in due to ridicule and now the folks that shake their heads and make comments about how ridiculous these folks are, must do so silently and anonymously, less being ridiculed. In my opinion, spotlighting deviant and abnormal behavior in order to celebrate it, is morally reprehensible. And there is a difference between tolerating and condoning. Cultural diversity is one thing to encourage; deviant diversity is not something to celebrate. Kind of like a friend telling me that the reason for GAY PRIDE parades is to gain respect for their lifestyle, as they prance around in extreme dress (or lack of) and makeup and act comically. He(IT) looked puzzled when I asked how looking ridiculous to the majority would gain "respect?" It would be fine with me if they keep their lifestyle choices private. But, I am old and more or less set in my ways. On the other hand, I have grandchildren that have similar reactions to weird. Thank goodness we have passed down the idea of tolerance, but have not forced acceptance or condoning. However, I do believe there is a limit to tolerance, and I don't think it is wise to push the majority into a corner with forced tolerance. Thank you for tolerating my opposing view to celebrating abnormal mental stability/diminished mental capacity. So far, I don't condone it but I will attempt to tolerate until I feel smothered by saturation.
