Herb, You mentioned animals in pictures. Sometimes I wonder if something is wrong with me. I have no problem watching movies/shows where people are hurt, but if an animal is hurt/abused/killed I cannot take it. I shed more tears during Dancing With Wolves and the Tarzen film where the chimps were killed. Heck I even cried over the newest King Kong when he was attacked on the Empire State building. Everytime there is a family pet in a movie I worry the entire film that something is going to happen to it. To many I probably sound foolish, but this is the way I am and as the years go by I get worse. So if I know a head of time animals of any kind are hurt or killed in a movie I will not see it.
