I think it was something you said.

I just retired from the IT field. (Forced) I still have a daughter to marry off. None of my grandchildren is over 3. (Another in the oven) I started my trip through what you seem to refer to as life later than you and it seems we arrived at the same time.

What matters is not your age but where you are in life. When your dead, nobody cares how old you are.

Yours is an interesting outlook.
