All either of the political parties need do is create a platform and present candidates that appeal to the intellect and emotions of "50% plus 1". It's simple.

If that isn't happening, it's because the minority party hasn't accomplished that objective. Individuals can be convinced that "their" ideology is best and correct, but that's not enough. It's got to be 50% plus 1.
