My home was hit by lightening and went on fire. Almost blew up completely as gas lines were penetrated. Luckily we were not at home.
Hundreds of homes and cars were severely damaged by the tornado which tore through The Villages about 15 years ago.
My cousin was thrown from his bed into the wall and his brand new car was totalled by the tornado.house was nearly demolished.
