My inbox rarely receives junk mail. However a look at my gmail “spam” folder shows purported messages from: Dell, TJMAX, Wells Fargo, T-Mobile, CVS, Banco Bradesco, Sams Club, McAffee Services etc. etc.
ALL of these are phishing emails. I do not spend 3 seconds a month worrying about these emails (other than occasionally deleting the spam folder contents)
If some spam makes it to my inbox, I just report it as junk. This moves it to the Spam folder and alerts google that I consider this spam. Google uses this feedback to adjust your spam filtering.
My advice: do not click on these emails. Just ignore and delete. Nothing bad is going to happen by failure to click. Bad stuff starts to happen if you click.
