Your email account can be set up so certain types of emails can go directly to another email FOLDER or you can mark the unwanted email(s) as SPAM and it will go directly to the SPAM default folder that automatically got set up when you created your email account. You would have to do the latter statement for all unwanted emails to begin with, but you will start to see that you are getting less and less unwanted email.
