Spectrum modems & routers are now free and covers our 2100+ home. Coverage depends on where you put the router. Ours is above the cabinet that is over the refrigerator. There should be an ethernet connection there - probably behind a blank plate. We put the modem in the low voltage cabinet, connected the correct ethernet cable and then put the router above the refrigerator.
