I usually cringe when I see Advertising on this site, but not in this case.
The dangers of PFAS in water supplies is real. The EPA & the State of Florida, do not test public (or private) water supplies for PFAS as of yet (it's coming soon).
I don't have a NOVA water system and know nothing about them. That said, I manage a few Public Water supplies in MA and we are required by the state to test for and treat PFAS. So I know a little about it.
The original post is accurate, in that Reverse Osmosis and Activated Carbon are the 2 known, reasonably efficient ways to remove PFAS from your drinking water.
It's sort of interesting to note, tests show that a huge % of "Bottled Water" sold to the public, also contain PFAS.
For those who are interested, the movie "Dark Waters" will give you some insight into how scary PFAS is .. & it's a decent movie.
