You didn't mention if you are full time or will be snowbirds. I've noticed the last couple of years, in the winter, particularly March - May, the newer courses such as Mallory, Cane and Havana, get really dried out like concrete. The older courses, such as Glenview are more established and are in nicer condition , so that might be a consideration for you. On the other hand, this summer when we've had so much rain, Glenview was closed or in not great shape quite a few times because of water on the course and muddy conditions. Might depend on your location too. Glenview is about a 20-25 minute golf cart ride for us, while Mallory and Cane are right around the corner so we tend to play more at Mallory and Cane, although as I said, in the winter Glenview's conditions rivaled those of Palmer. But you never know, now that Mallory and Cane have been here a few years, they may finally be getting more mature, and they may be in better shape this coming winter.
