Accckkkk!!!! Our houses in this area of Amelia are being swarmed by flying insects. They look kind of like mosquitoes, but they do not sting. They like to hang out on the window screens, also up by the gutters, and then get caught in the spiderwebs. There are literally 1000s of them - and that's probably an under-estimate!
They're multiplying in the cul de sac roundabout's plants and if you are real quiet, you can hear them buzzing while they fly.
Does anyone else have these annoying insects?
Does The Villages have a truck that comes around to spray anymore? I know last year they sprayed for mosquitoes, as I saw/heard them come around in the early morning hours. But I haven't seen that truck at all this year...
Any suggestions as to who to call? This is
not just limited to my house, but effects the whole neighborhood, so for me to call my bug man would seem like throwing $$ into the wind.
