Prime Example
A prime example is how Part D was handled. If your coverage didn't meet their criteria (and by the way, the powers that be weren't all on the same page), then the individual is penalized forever for "not signing up on time" when they thought they already were covered. I have a neighbor who got caught in that deal and now she is paying the price. She could not get a straight answer from Medicare, SS, or the insurance people. They couldn't even agree. Better hold on, folks....it's gonna be a rough ride.
