Agree completely. In my case, the "counseling" amounted to an explanation by the doctor(s), who already knew the condition of my parents, as to what the prognosis might be if heroic (and expensive) treatment was provided to prolong life, versus what would happen if nothing was done. If they got paid by the hour for that counseling, they wouldn't have made very much.
