Earlier I had ignored this thread because I figured it was just another "kool aid" post. When I read it I was really quite horrified to think that the aggressor had punched the older man several times before realizing it was not even his car the older man had hit and then just walked away, not even offering help. One can assume the aggressor had been drinking which would not help the situation, but he needs to do time.

I believe the relatives of the deceased person could take a civil suit and put this guy away for a good long time.

This is information in Florida law. "Punishment for Battery on an Elderly Person

This is a first-degree felony that is punishable up to 30 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. There is a mandatory 3 year prison term. The judge will order that restitution will be paid and the defendant must do 500 hours of community service." So who knows, maybe he will pay dearly for his stupidity.
