You should have been given an instruction sheet for your garage door openers & transmitters as part of your closing documents. Yes...the wireless keypad can control more than one door, but it has to be programmed to do so. The programming involves entering codes after pushing the "learn" button on the operator motor. Try a Google search for the brand/model keypad you have (if a new or newer home, probably a Linear brand). You can find the instructions and probably a YouTube video that will help.

Another good option to have is a MyQ device on the garage door(s). These will allow you to operate your doors with your phone, or any device that can access the internet. A MyQ device also allows you to sign up for Amazon Key Delivery, where your packages from Amazon will be placed in your garage by the driver. That service utilizes a one-time code, built into the package bar code, that the driver uses to open and close your garage door. The MyQ device is not expensive, about 30 bucks, and is very easy to install and configure. I find it very helpful to have packages placed in the garage, rather than left by the door for the porch pirates.
