I have a hobby of building plastic scale models and need not only a place to store but to work on them so I had a split AC installed in the garage and that work great. Check to see what you have for attic storage and put as much as you can there to help clear space in the garage. Another option to consider is enclosing your lanai. I you might be sacrificing some living space but if you need something climate controlled it might be your best bet. I have a fellow villager who's wife does crafting as well and they have really pushed the limits of their model, and they have a large home. If you are moving permanently you might need to make some life style choices or as others have mentioned look for a bigger house. Good luck and Welcome!
