Correct. The NWS that is a division of NOAA which is under the commerce department headed by a cabinet secretary. I can just imagine a cabinet meeting: "How can we cram the false narrative of climate change down the public's throats?"
State: We can blame China and India, but then we'd have to admit spending trillions on our own will do nothing, scratch that idea
Transportation: We sell the idea that SUVs are the source of all evil and spend billions subsidizing EVs, even though it won't make a difference
"sure it makes a difference, it enriches our benefactors who will make a fortune off that idea---go with it"
Defense: This is all BS, count us out.
"Oh, no, don't even think about speaking truth to power"
Commerce: We can have our puppet NWS issue "heat warnings", even though this summer is 2.63 degrees cooler than summer 2022
"great idea! Then we can have the puppet media call "weather alert days" and put heat indices rather than actual temperatures on their forecast map. The weak minded lemmings will actual believe it, after all, the bigger the lie, the more will believe it"
