You do realize most people who live outside The Villages in Sumter county have zero interest in footing the bill for an extra luxury of additional golf cart paths for the golf cart riding Villagers, right? Calculating 1%, I measure the slim amount of The Villages population even living in that sector and then the addition of how many of that population even utilize carts, and then how many would actually utilize the path. Hey, if CDD 1 wants a path, create a bond for just them and make them pay for it. Don’t ask the rest of us to pay for it. Heck, we just got hit with the strong possibility of an additional 300 plus per year for fire departments.

By that reasoning maybe people who live in the Villages don’t want to pay for the library in Bushnell which 1% of the population might use.
