We had the repair person here last night and the copper tube is about 18" from the access point in the ceiling and we were able to see the break or leak. We will check and see if they can splice the tube and repair rather than replace the say 100' of copper that is intact. The fellow last night was not able to do the quote as that isn't his job but he was knowlegable and very nice. We got the quote today from the quote department. Appreciate your feedback.

If it is only a condensate water leak, $700 sounds high, unless you need a new condensate pump. I thought you had a refrigerant leak.
