Happy to report that late yesterday we did resolve the issue with Kalos. While the mini split is under warranty, Kalos states the copper tubing going through the attic is not. From what we understand, the copper tube had a leak, caused by what not sure or perhaps it was defective when installed in 2021, we will never know. We noticed the issue because water was dripping down the wall under the mini split unit. Water did pool on the floor behind and beyond a piece of furniture in that location and that's how we saw it. There was no gushing water, to be clear. To that end, there were no refrigerant leaks. This particular copper tubing carries water. From what I understand about that is it's more of a drip that carries the condensation from the unit through the attic, then outside the house through a copper tube that we can clearly see located by the compressor (I think they call it?). While we still have to pay, Kalos did adjust the fees.
