While T V may have fixed their on paper marketing it's a little late for those who were sold on a theater being at Brownwood (amungst other things of course).

Let's be generous. 3,500 petition signers spending $10 one a week to watch a movie at a theater.

That's $35,000 gross revenue a week.

That's not enough revenue to pay the costs of running a theater and pay the studios enough for a first run movie.
