Agree, but also think it can be interesting where a topic can lead ! Also the "hot button" factor is an interesting psychological factor. Interesting that a certain percentage of people are enraged at the thought of having to give up a quarter for even a few minutes, maybe half an hour at most until they get it back. While others believe it is just plain "wrong" to require any "deposit" for a cart. And for those folks, there are SO MANY places to shop that do not "require" the $.25 deposit. Frankly, I think the goal is to keep CUSTOMERS autos safer from scratches and damage from carts people just use and "let go"... every watch how many cars are hit by ONE cart on a really windy Florida day.But, fortunately, no one is forced to even take a cart at Aldi, most take their own shopping bags anyway.
