Me, 80 by day and 74 to sleep. Wife, 76 by day and 70 to sleep. We compromise at 78, 72. January to mid February we open all windows and sliders, turn the HVAC off, and the temperature is what it is. I turn the heat on once per year for about a half hour, with the windows open, just to check that it’s still working and burn off the dust. When up north, my wife will keep a window open in the bedroom anytime it’s above 32 degrees, so I often sleep with a sweatshirt. Our bedroom is upstairs, so the heat from the wood stove raises up and makes the room an oven. That being said, if it’s that cold we should be in the Villages.
